Sephora Halo Wins LIT Design Award

Contemporary lighting solution named as winner in Street Lighting category at prestigious international design awards

DW Windsor, the exterior lighting specialist, is pleased to announce that Sephora Halo has been named a winner in the Street Lighting category at the LIT Design Awards 2021.

Created to recognise the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementors, the LIT Design Awards are overseen by an esteemed jury of designers and leaders in the lighting, interior design and architectural fields.

With Sephora Halo, understated design meets high performance to deliver an architectural street lighting solution designed to enhance urban environments. Part of the Sephora family, the Connected Spaces ready luminaire is defined by its distinctive circular ‘halo’ shape, which challenges modern street lighting conventions.

It’s a great honour for Sephora Halo to be named as a winner at the LIT Design Awards. A lot of time and energy goes into creating new products, so it’s great for the team to receive recognition for their hard work.

Sephora Halo is offered in two unique styles; Radius provides a contemporary curved aesthetic, while Cubis delivers a clean, angular appearance. In addition, a range of mounting options including direct post, side entry and two curved post options are also available, providing a flexible solution that can be used across multiple lighting applications from busy traffic routes to pedestrianised public spaces.

The luminaire features a specially designed circular LED Performance light engine with a focus on efficacy, delivering up to 16,000lm. With the latest LED technology and advanced optics, the Performance light engine provides increased energy savings and is offered with a range of light distributions from DW Windsor’s Diamond+ Optic range.

“It’s a great honour for Sephora Halo to be named as a winner at the LIT Design Awards”, said Neil Parrott, Director of Product Design at DW Windsor. “A lot of time and energy goes into creating new products, so it’s great for the team to receive recognition for their hard work.”

Now in its 5th year, the LIT Design Awards celebrate the highest quality of Lighting Design and Lighting Product Design, uniting creativity and innovation. In 2021, the awards received over 500 submissions from 33 countries across a range of 78 categories.
