Configurator Co-Ordinator

Purpose of role:

To use configuration software to create new and maintain existing configurations of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • configuring standard products using configurator software;
  • maintaining existing configured products: adding options, replacing options, modifying configurations;
  • developing unique rules and parameters for each luminaire or other product using the product configurator software;
  • responding to technical queries from Sales and Customer Support;
  • providing support for production regarding issues that arise;
  • working closely with Design and Production Planning Teams to ensure accuracy of configurations;
  • training other staff/configuration team members in using Configuration software and company products.

Skills - you will:

  • have excellent written and spoken communication skills;
  • be able to follow processes;
  • be naturally inquisitive and understand product options and the rules that apply for certain configurations;
  • be able to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • have the ability to pay close attention to detail and be, by nature, a finisher and completer of assigned tasks;
  • have the ability to be flexible, adaptable and deal with a high variety and volume of work;
  • have the ability to meet deadlines, working hours required on occasion to meet the deadlines.

Purpose of role:

The test engineer will be responsible for all aspects of product testing from R&D to production, providing technical support to various departments and problem solving of technical issues as they arise.
