Outdoor lighting specialist launches larger Daytona 500 luminaire to support a wider range of urban lighting applications

DW Windsor, a leading provider of exterior lighting solutions, is pleased to announce the expansion of its Daytona luminaire range with the introduction of the Daytona 500. This latest product innovation builds upon DW Windsor's commitment to delivering versatile, performance-driven lighting solutions for urban environments.

With its low profile appearance and elegant round shape, Daytona is a contemporary lighting solution that blends style with performance to integrate seamlessly into various urban landscapes. The luminaire series has been designed with a focus on adaptability, longevity and efficiency, making it ideally suited to a range of lighting applications, from car parks to carriageways.

Daytona 500 expands our product offering, increasing the opportunities for specifiers to design with a consistent form factor. Aesthetic choice is much needed in the market, and the newly extended Daytona range offers exactly that, coupled with high performance and a sustainable design approach.

—Neil Parrott, Product Design Director, DW Windsor

Sustainability and circularity were driving factors when developing the range, which is constructed using recycled materials and mechanical fixings for easy maintenance. Another key aspect of the luminaire's design is toolless entry and the ability to easily upgrade light engines to improve its longevity. These features have helped Daytona achieve an 'Excellent Circularity' score under the TM66 assessment method.

Neil Parrott, Product Design Director at DW Windsor, commented, "Daytona 500 expands our product offering, increasing the opportunities for specifiers to design with a consistent form factor. Aesthetic choice is much needed in the market, and the newly extended Daytona range offers exactly that, coupled with high performance and a sustainable design approach."

Daytona 500 joins Daytona 450, taking the maximum lumen output of the range up to 25,700lm, making it suitable for lighting traffic routes and conflict areas. In addition, the Daytona 500 is offered with DW Windsor's Diamond+ Optic range with 14 separate light distributionsFinally, the range is also DarkSky® Approved with a 0% Upward Light Output Ratio (ULOR), helping to minimise glare, combat light trespass, and protect the night sky.
