Open for business: just from a safe distance

March 2020, by Terry Dean

In light of the uncertainty and disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, I wanted to send a message of support and to reassure our customers that the DW Windsor Group is still very much open for business. We remain fully committed to the continuity of our service and will continue to keep our customers up-to-date in this continually moving landscape.

We are following the advice of both the Government and health authorities, and as you would expect, our number one priority is to protect our business community.

We have a rigorous plan in place, which is being reviewed daily. Our current strategy is:

For our office team:

  • To limit social interactions, from Monday 23rd we will operate a 4-day working week – the offices will be closed on Fridays until further notice;
  • We are supporting working from home where possible in order to limit the number of people in the offices at any one time;
  • With immediate effect, our sales teams have been taken off the road and will utilise video conferencing as an alternative to face-to-face meetings. Keeping connected to you, when it matters most.

 Manufacturing:

  • We have implemented shift rotation in our factory. Otherwise, production capacity remains unchanged – we still have your orders to fulfil.

We hope that by taking these steps quickly, we will minimise the effect of COVID-19 on both our business, as well as yours.

Professionally and personally, I would like to thank you for your patience and continued loyalty in these tough times.

We will keep you as regularly updated as we possibly can, as we’re all in this together.
