A simple solution to difficult access
Raise and lower columns enable maintenance to be carried out on luminaires in difficult to access areas.
They are available in a range of loading capacities and designs to suit the weight of the luminaire and bracket being carried. Choose from a wide range of styles, from plain tubular columns through to tapered and embellished columns.
Also available; our cast-based Oxford heritage column - which is the only raising and lowering column of this type on the market.
We offer two types of hinged column:
- Base-hinged columns
Winch operated, with a significant carrying capacity - Mid-hinged columns
Rope operated, suitable for light loads (no winch-tool required)
Generally, steel is used for raise and lower columns but we can also offer beautiful aluminium columns with almost invisible hinge mechanisms.
