Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

What you will do:

  • Act as liaison between Purchasing and Stakeholders to plan, coordinate and implement Supply Chain strategies
  • Report on Purchasing strategy for product introduction and phase out
  • Develop and maintain purchasing KPI’s
  • Demonstrate an active commitment to continuous improvement in all areas of Purchasing & Supply Chain
  • Develop & communicate supplier capacity and production plans with Operations to meet business needs
  • Analyse and maintain material requirement plans to support Operations
  • Support inventory plan through monitoring of teams purchasing and stocking policy, monitor risk and effects
  • Manage procurement records, related databases and invoicing
  • Manage purchase orders to support the business as well as requirements shown in ERP / MRP

Who you are:

  • Effective communicator, you'll have excellent written and verbal skills
  • Minimum 5 years' experience of planning within an MRP environment
  • Ideally a knowledge of Inventory & Production Efficiency
  • Knowledge of all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures
  • Experience of data analysis and performance measures
  • HNC or higher in relevant discipline is an advantage
  • Excellent MRP knowledge, PC skills, Microsoft Office skills: advanced experience of Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to handle pressure and challenging situations effectively
