Last month, LIA President (and DW Windsor Group CEO) Terry Dean, LIA Vice President Peter McVeigh of Status International Limited, and the LIA's COO Peter Hunt visited Great Ormond Street Hospital to witness the amazing life-changing work they perform and present a cheque from the LIA’s 2019 Charity Ball.
On 11th July 2019, the lighting industry gathered in force (black tie) for the Lighting Industry Association’s annual charity ball at Leonardo Royal Hotel London City. Putting lighting aside for the evening, they participated in a silent auction, casino tables, raffle and a Vegas themed quiz, raising an amazing £10, 204.23 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Terry Dean, LIA President and DW Windsor Group CEO, comments,
We spent a truly insightful day at Great Ormond Street. We were joined by David Rose, an Ambassador of Great Ormond Street, who shared his own personal experience and explained the importance of the work that GOSH does. I was immensely proud to present what we have raised as an industry, GOSH is a highly deserving cause.
A big thank you to Status International, the main sponsors of the evening, and to BSi who sponsored the Charity Raffle on the night.
