DW Windsor shortlisted for two Lux Ecolight Awards

DW Windsor Lighting is delighted to have been shortlisted for not one but two Lux Ecolight Awards.

Recognising what has been a pivotal year for our environmental strategy, DW Windsor are proud to be just one of three manufacturers to have been shortlisted for the Environmental Manufacturer of the Year award.  We have also been shortlisted within the Award for Urban Lighting category, for our Essex Street Steps project which features our illuminated LED handrail Garda (a product highly commended at this year’s Lighting Design Awards).

Managing Director Terry Dean commented ‘being shortlisted for the Lux and Ecolight Environmental Manufacturer of the Year Award is an extremely rewarding achievement for all at DW Windsor.  As a UK Manufacturer we feel it is our responsibility to steer customers towards sustainable product choices.  DWW’s vision is to ultimately become a zero landfill business with a number of initiatives in the pipeline to align environmental responsibility and integrity at the heart of our business philosophy’.

2011 has already seen us gain our ISO 14001 accreditation and reduce landfill by 10 tonnes with the introduction of a captured waste recycling scheme.
