Ely

Faced with an historic skyline, mixed architecture and low mounting heights in Ely town centre, architects Broadway Malyan needed an exceptional lighting solution. Our own Strand luminaire could give the high performance required but was a little too ‘retro’ to sit comfortably with the town’s more modern buildings. Our answer was to adapt the design with the addition of a convex canopy - a simple solution that’s been hugely successful ever since, at home and abroad.
